Avalon Enterprise wants to invest in unique products, technologies or services with great market potential, clear caseload, competition advantages and scalability. Natural contact areas are science parks and incubators, often in connection with universities/colleges. Investment suggestions also come from other innovation environments or directly from entrepreneurs, sometimes mediated via the consultant business.

Avalon Enterprise mainly invests through the joint-owned investment company Piren Venture Holding AB, founded in the autumn 2007.
