The design process
We contribute to developing the correct products for different markets, we succeed in doing this due to our strong focus on company images and how companies position themselves on different markets. The goal is that our industrial design work should increase the volume of business and render higher profits.
Our designers work according to the Design Process below. They have technical expertise and are used to co-operate with different aspects of the companies, for example design, manufacturing and marketing.
The design process defines a series of steps for arriving at a successful design when working in the company product development process. The design process can be applied to many different areas and projects that concern processes, messages, goods, services or environments.

The Design Process consists of the following steps:
- Starting points
Definition of the prerequisites that are set for the work: technical, economical and personal resources and time to market.
- User studies
Contains:
- A needs and functionality analysis involving examinations of the general conditions (such as quantitative and qualitative studies)
- conversations and tests with the concerned users
- contact with knowledgeable personal networks and media
All this information is to be analyzed prior to continuing with the process steps.
- Concept and visualization
Based on the starting points and user studies, one or more concept proposals are developed and tested. The work is done in the form of, for example, brainstorming sessions and often in close cooperation with other specialists and from a production and marketing perspective.
- Evaluation and concept selection
Contains:
- Priorities
- Calculations
- Market valuations
- Technical considerations
Different proposals are matched up against each other and one or more are selected for further development. Presentations are prepared.
- Fine-tuning and implementation
Contains:
- Further development of the selected proposals, which are also firmly anchored with key personnel
- Presentation, testing and evaluation of the final proposal
Once again, this requires the engagement of other specialists able to help, for example, in drawing up production blueprints and specifications. Once any potential problems have been ironed out, the production process can begin.
- Follow-up and evaluation
To optimize future improvements, all parameters are evaluated after production start. The follow-up phase also includes fresh user studies and tests. The marketing strategy is suited to the results of these tests in order to promote the advantages of the design efforts.
